After having founded subsidiaries in New York, Beijing, Bordeaux, and Dubai, VOK DAMS GROUP now enters the virtual world. The Wuppertal-based agency is among the first German event agencies to open an office in Second Life. Office manager is the metaverse-experienced avatar Colja Cortes.

The virtual outpost is an experimental office showcasing the agency as well as the VOK DAMS : ILM Institute for Live-Marketing. Main objective of this virtual branch is to test new live marketing concepts. Therefore, the suitably named VOK DAMS 2nd.lab will consistently alter and expand.

The VOK DAMS : ILM is already in the process of developing practical and appicable communication strategies for companies entering Second Life. The agency on the other hand is facing the more practical side of virtual communication: the events specialists have already been assigned projects regarding performances and events in Second Life.

Live communication in Second Life will as well be an issue at the next VOK DAMS trend.lab. Starting on April 27 in Wuppertal, it will be themed “Lebenswelten” (“Living spaces”).
